As a stupid teenager I started smoking and couldn't stop it 30 years
In the autumn of 2003 - while a student at McGill University - the idea appeared,
to develop a stop smoking program, what could be helpful not only for myself.
The first epiphany was nine months later, that “Oxygen Cigarettes” could be created as a substitute
product for cigarettes. I held on to this idea until 2014 (may revisit this idea in the future again).
The second epiphany was in 2010, when I attempted to stop smoking with a colleague.
We both bought electronic cigarettes, but neither of us managed to quit smoking.
I envisioned a better e- cigarette.
On 09 March 2011, I quit smoking. I needed to be vigilant that I would never return to smoking.
On 04 March 2014, I knew that I would never return to smoking.
From 2012 to 2014 - while I was lecturer at Capital Medical University (CCMU) -
my first patent was developed and granted on 31 Dec 2014.
In October 2017, Two Mountains Psy-Tech (HK) Ltd. was incorporated.
In 2018, Two Mountains won Ningbo Smart Cities Expo Best Innovation in HealthTech award.
In 2019, Two Mountains won Hong Kong Techathon Best Innovation in HealthTech award.
The app was made in Jaipur, India.
The cartridges and vape units were produced in Shenzhen, China.
All was ready by the end of January 2020 -
readying to launch after Spring Festival holiday, but Covid-19 hit.
Because of Covid lockdown in China, I spent two winters in Canada - I participated in two
local business incubators and was a Top 20 finalist at Startup TNT 2022 pitch competition.
Now one year back in China and developed a strong team for a higher level start.
